Distinctives of Our Church

Our church is known for its love and acceptance. Many visitors remark about the friendliness and warmth of our people. We are a church that is contemporary and informal in its worship. Dress is informal - people are free to dress casually so as to not be a barrier to non-church goers or those who can't afford more formal attire.

Youth is greatly emphasized at our church. Our elementary and teen programs attract many young people from our community.

Small groups are greatly emphasized at our church. We encourage every adult from our church to be in at least one small group. We encourage every small group member to invite at least one friend who doesn't have a church home.

The Word of God is greatly emphasized at our church. We believe not only in the authority of the Word, but that the Bible is without error in its original writings. Our worship services are focuses upon the expository preaching of the Word and our people are greatly encouraged to be in God's Word every day.

We also have a burden to help the poor and needy in our church and in our community. Many from the community are helped through our food pantry and many of our own people have been assisted through our "Deacon Fund".

We are a church that loves and cares and gives!
